The skeleton of the Asian elephant was prepared by the efforts of Dr. Sadeghinezhad and with cooperation of the students of this faculty, Mr. Mohammad Ebrahimi and Mr. Mehdi Heydari Lehi. It was placed in the lobby of the anatomy building of the faculty.
International Seminar on Veterinary Anatomy Education will be held on March 11, 2022 virtually by Iranian Asscociation of Veterinary Anatomical Science (IAVAS) in cooperation with World Association of Veterinary Anatomists (WAVA).

Dear Veterinary anatomists:
On behalf of the World Association of Veterinary Anatomists (WAVA) it is a pleasure to present this international seminar on veterinary anatomy education. The teaching of anatomy is fundamental in our Veterinary colleges. Due to COVID-19 pandemic where strict restrictions were imposed in different forms, depending on the severity of the pandemic and the political decisions of each country, some Veterinary Faculties were totally closed during a lot of months and a lot of them returned in hybrid form. Some disciplines as Anatomy need teaching face to face and the way of teaching has changed remarkably in these times. All the professors have had to redesign our courses in such a way that the absence of dissection was replaced from the virtual environment.
In this seminar, organized by Prof. Javad Sadeghinezhad, and the Iranian Association of Veterinary Anatomical Sciences, together with the WAVA, we will present by specialists the current situation of Anatomy teaching in a variety of countries (Albania, Brazil, Iran, Poland, Switzerland and United Kingdom). The selected speakers are anatomists and histologists who are internationally renowned, highly productive scientists and heads of their disciplines in their respective countries. Without any doubt, this seminar will provide us with many ideas and knowledge that we will be able to apply to the reality of each country.

International Seminar on Veterinary Anatomy Education will be held on March 11, 2022 virtually by Iranian Asscociation of Veterinary Anatomical Science (IAVAS) in cooperation with World Association of Veterinary Anatomists (WAVA).
The aim of this seminar is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, opinions, innovations and research on topics related to education in the veterinary anatomical sciences (gross anatomy, embryology and histology) at undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels of education.
